Rebbel in Gemini Spark
Add Rebbel, your AI marketing department, to Gemini Spark as a custom app. Nothing publishes until you approve it — checked on Rebbel's servers, whichever assistant you use.
Set up
Read this first. This works in Gemini Spark, not in a regular Gemini chat. We tested it on a Google AI Pro account; on a free Google account we tried, Gemini showed no custom-app option at all. Google also says it hasn't reviewed custom apps and doesn't control, monitor or secure them.

- 2Paste the URL. Choose Custom apps. Under “Custom apps for Spark”, paste the address above into Add a custom app link to get started and click Next, then Next again on the “Connect to an MCP server” box.
- 3Accept Google's risk notice. On “Connect this MCP server”, scroll down, tick I understand and accept the security and privacy risks of connecting this custom app, and click Connect. The box is taller than a small window, and Connect does nothing until the tick is there.
- 4Link your accounts and sign in to Rebbel. Google shows a screen titled “Link your Google Account and [Custom] Rebbel account”. Continue through it and sign in to Rebbel when asked.
- 5Save the app. On “Save your custom app” you'll see the name Rebbel and the 46 tools it offers. Click Connect; Gemini says “Custom app added”.
- 6Use it in Gemini Spark. Switch from Chat to Spark at the top of the sidebar (the first time, Gemini asks you to choose Use Spark), then describe a task that names Rebbel, like “Using my connected Rebbel app, list my brands.”
What we tested. We set this up on a Google AI Pro account. On a free Google account we tried, the Connected Apps page had no custom-app option, though the account appeared to meet the requirements Google's help page lists: 18 or over and in the US, a personal Google Account (not work or school), Keep Activity on, and English only. We haven't tried Google AI Plus or Ultra, so we can't say which plans have it or whether it is a gradual rollout. In our test Rebbel did not appear when we typed @ in a regular Gemini chat; it worked in Gemini Spark, which Google labels a beta.
Google's warning. Gemini tells you the app “hasn't been reviewed by Google”, and Google's help page says it doesn't control, monitor or secure third-party MCP servers, so trust the provider and read its privacy policy before connecting. This is a custom app you add yourself. Rebbel's own rule doesn't change: nothing publishes or spends until you approve it.

- No. Anything that would publish or spend needs your explicit approval, checked on the server — asking from Gemini Spark follows the same rules as the dashboard.
