Claude as your social media manager: setup, prompts and a connector

Claude runs a small brand's social media once a connector remembers the brand and publishes. Setup, a first week of prompts, and what stays in the dashboard.

Claude is a good writer and a patient planner. What turns it into a social media manager is a connector that remembers your brand between chats, drafts with pictures, publishes to your channels and reads back the results. That's what Rebbel adds, and setup is one click from the connector directory.

What Claude can do for a small brand's social (skills vs a connector)

Claude on its own can write captions, plan a month of topics and rewrite a draft in a tone you describe. A skill goes one step further: it's a set of instructions and reference material you give Claude once, so you don't repeat your brand's voice and rules in every chat. Skills are good at making Claude write the way you want.

A connector is different in kind: it gives Claude tools that act in another service. With Rebbel connected, Claude can build your brand guide, draft campaigns with pictures, connect to your channels, publish the posts you say yes to and read back how they did. The brand lives in Rebbel, not in a chat, so the same brand guide, campaigns and results are there in the dashboard and on your phone.

Setting it up (Add Rebbel to Claude)

Rebbel is in the Claude connector directory. Open the listing, connect it, and sign in to Rebbel (a free account, no card). Then connect your Facebook Page on Rebbel's Connections page; a linked Instagram account connects in the same step, and the setup guides cover each other channel. The Rebbel page for Claude has the full procedure and the fallback of adding it by hand.

A first week's prompts

Day one: "Create a brand for [your website]." Rebbel reads the site and builds the brand guide. "Show me the brand guide" and "change the voice to warmer and plainer" fix anything it got wrong. Day two: "Write a strategy for [your goal], posting on Facebook and Instagram." Day three: "Start a campaign about [this month's news]." Rebbel drafts the first batch of posts with pictures.

Through the week: "Show me the posts waiting on me." "Make the second one shorter." "Swap the image on the Thursday post." "Remake the fourth one, the idea's wrong." "Schedule the first three for 9am Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday." After the weekend: "How did last week's posts do?" Rebbel answers in plain English with what's live, what's scheduled and what's waiting on you.

Your brand's memory and what stays in the dashboard

Everything Claude does through Rebbel is stored against your brand: the guide, the strategy, every campaign, every post and its earlier versions, your connected accounts and the results read back from each channel. Open the Rebbel dashboard or the app on your phone and it's all there, with the same posts waiting for you. A chat is one window onto your marketing department; the dashboard is another.

Your say-so holds across all of them. Rebbel's publish and schedule tools refuse any post you haven't said yes to, whether the request comes from Claude, the dashboard or the phone.

More channels from the same chat

Facebook Pages and Instagram are on every plan. Solo and above add X, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn (your personal profile) and Pinterest, and TikTok for video you upload, each connected once from the Connections page and each written for from the same chat. The same Rebbel connector also works in Gemini CLI, Gemini Spark, Cursor and Perplexity, with the same brand and the same rule that nothing goes out until you say so.

Who it's for

  • Owners and small teams who already work in Claude and want their social media handled from there.
  • People curious whether a chat can run a brand's social without a separate tool to learn.
  • Available on every plan, Free included.

Set it up

  1. Add Rebbel to Claude from the connector directory and sign in.
  2. Connect your Facebook Page on Rebbel's Connections page.
  3. Say "Create a brand for [your website]" and work from there.

Common questions

Can Claude be my social media manager?

With Rebbel connected, yes: Claude builds your brand guide from your website, drafts strategy and campaigns with pictures, publishes the posts you say yes to on your channels and reads back the results. On its own Claude writes but has nothing to publish with.

What's the difference between a Claude skill and a connector?

A skill is instructions Claude follows, which shape how it writes. A connector gives Claude tools that act in another service. Rebbel is a connector: it remembers your brand, publishes and reports.

Does Claude remember my brand between chats?

Rebbel does. Your brand guide, campaigns, posts, connections and results are stored against your brand, so every new chat starts from them, and the dashboard and phone app show the same state.

Which channels can it post to?

Facebook Pages and Instagram on every plan; X, Threads, Bluesky, LinkedIn (personal profile) and Pinterest on Solo and above, plus TikTok for video you upload.
