Gemini Spark for social media campaigns: a marketing department in your chat
Gemini Spark can write a post. With Rebbel connected it can run the whole loop: brand guide, strategy, campaigns, drafts — with you approving every post.
Asking for a caption is easy. Running social media is the part around the caption: knowing what your brand sounds like, what to post this month, and actually getting it drafted — without anything going out that you haven't read. We tested this ourselves, live, before writing it up.

Why a prompt isn't a campaign
A chat forgets your brand the moment the conversation ends. Every new post means re-explaining your voice, your offers and what you must never say — and even a great draft still has to be reshaped for each platform by hand.
Rebbel keeps all of that in one place, so Gemini Spark isn't starting from zero each time: your brand guide, your strategy, your campaigns and your connected accounts.
How it works in Gemini Spark
Add Rebbel to Gemini as a custom app once (steps on our setup page — it runs in Gemini Spark, not a regular chat). From then on you work in plain English. Rebbel builds a brand guide from your website — identity, voice, colors, audience, do and don't rules — then a strategy from your goals: which channels, how often, and how the budget splits.
Ask for a campaign and Rebbel drafts its first batch of posts in your brand's voice. We ran this ourselves: asked Spark to generate a campaign, it showed Google's own confirmation screen naming the exact tool call ("Let Gemini use 'generate campaign' from Rebbel"), and after we allowed it, Rebbel drafted two real Facebook posts — each with a headline, an angle and generated media, sitting in review, waiting on approval.
That's the shape of it: ask, review, ask for a change, approve. Nothing goes out until you say so.
The part a posting tool can't do
Tools that only post will publish whatever you type. Rebbel works like a department: it plans and drafts for you, and it holds the line on the one thing that matters — nothing publishes and no money is spent until you approve it. In our test, both drafted posts sat waiting on approval; the publish and schedule tools refuse anything that hasn't been approved first, whichever assistant you ask from.
Who it's for
- Owners on a Google AI Pro plan who already use Gemini Spark and want their social media handled, not just drafted.
- Anyone who wants to approve every post before it goes out.
Set it up
- Add Rebbel to Gemini as a custom app and switch to Gemini Spark.
- Tell it your website; it drafts a brand guide and strategy.
- Ask for your first campaign.
Good to know
- We tested this on a Google AI Pro account; a free Google account we tried had no custom-app option, so we can't say it works there.
- Google shows its own confirmation screen before Gemini Spark can write anything — you (or whoever's signed in) click Allow.
- You can review and approve from Gemini Spark, the Rebbel dashboard or the mobile app.
Common questions
Can Gemini Spark run my social media on its own?
On its own it can draft text, but it can't publish or keep your brand between chats. With Rebbel connected, we've tested it building a campaign end to end — it drafted real posts and left them waiting on approval.
Does anything publish without me?
No. In our test both drafted posts stayed in review; the publish and schedule tools refuse anything that hasn't been approved first, whichever assistant you ask from.
Do I need a paid Google plan?
We tested this on a Google AI Pro account. A free Google account we tried showed no way to add Rebbel at all, so we can't say whether it works there.
