Connect Threads

Open your brand → Connections → the Threads section, and choose Connect Threads. Your browser goes to threads.net; sign in with the profile you want Rebbel to post from and allow access. Each authorization covers exactly one profile, so there’s nothing to pick.

You land back on Connections with “Threads connected.” and a row showing your @username. To use a different profile later, choose Connect a different Threads account.

  Lets Rebbel read your profile — username and picture — so the Connections page shows which profile is connected.

  Lets Rebbel publish the posts you approve.

• threads_manage_insights

  Lets Rebbel read your posts' views and likes. Threads hasn't switched this one on for Rebbel yet, so post metrics don't show in Rebbel for now — publishing isn't affected.

Rebbel doesn’t ask to read or send replies or messages.

Posts of up to 500 characters — text on its own, one image, or up to ten images as a carousel. Threads posts carry at most one hashtag, and a link sits on its own line in the post itself. Every post goes through the same approval step as every other channel: nothing publishes until you say yes.

A Threads connection lasts about 60 days, and Rebbel renews it in the background before it runs out — you shouldn’t need to reconnect. If Threads ever signs Rebbel out, the row shows Needs reauthwith “Threads signed Rebbel out — reconnect to resume publishing.” and you get one email about it. Scheduled Threads posts wait instead of failing and publish on their own once you reconnect.

Disconnecton the Threads row removes the profile from Rebbel; posts scheduled for it won’t go out until you connect again. To cut Rebbel’s access on Threads’ side as well, remove Rebbel from the apps with access in your Threads or Instagram settings.
