Why we built it

If your brand is on Instagram, Threads is the text-first place right next to it — and keeping it active by hand meant copying captions across and reshaping them every time. It's the easiest channel to let go quiet.

Now Threads is one more channel your marketing department writes for, with posts shaped for Threads rather than pasted from somewhere else.

How it works

Threads is its own connection: you sign in on threads.net, separately from connecting Facebook and Instagram, and each sign-in covers exactly one profile. The connection lasts about 60 days and Rebbel renews it in the background, so you shouldn't have to reconnect.

Threads posts run up to 500 characters and carry at most one hashtag. A link sits on its own line in the post. You can post text on its own, one image, or up to ten images as a carousel — and like every channel, nothing goes out until you approve it.

The honest limit

Threads hasn't yet approved Rebbel to read post metrics, so views and likes for your Threads posts don't show in Rebbel for now. Publishing isn't affected. We'll add Threads results once Threads switches that permission on.

Set it up

1. Open your brand's Connections page and find Threads.
2. Choose Connect Threads and allow Rebbel to publish.
3. Approve a post for Threads; it publishes there.
