Optional. Most brands don’t need this. Organic posting to your connected Facebook Page and Instagram account works without an ad account. Ad account connection is currently limited to a small early-access group while Rebbel dogfoods paid campaigns internally — if you don’t see a “Connect ad account” button on your Connections page, you don’t need this yet.
Why you'd connect one
Once ads are available on your account, connecting your own Meta ad account lets Rebbel help plan and launch paid campaigns. Spend always runs on yourad account and your own payment method — Rebbel never touches your media spend, and nothing launches without your explicit approval, same as every other publish action.
If you don't have an ad account yet
- Go to business.facebook.com → Business Settings → Accounts → Ad accounts → Add → Create a new ad account.
- Add a payment method under that ad account’s billing settings — your own card, not Rebbel’s.
- Make sure you have admin access to the ad account (automatic if you created it).
Connecting it in Rebbel
On your brand’s Connections page, once ads are enabled for your account, click Connect ad accountand choose it from the list. This is a separate permission grant from connecting your Facebook Page/Instagram — see the connect-flow guide for exactly what’s requested.
